Tricia Thompson-Ceramic Artist Following early studies in Architecture, a twenty year career as a computer consultant, and eight years sailing and diving in the Caribbean, Tricia embarked on a career as a ceramic artist. Mostly self taught, her designs reflect her travels and undersea explorations. Her goal is to excite the imagination. To this end she creates only one-of-a-kind pieces. Her creative style is often recognized by abstract carvings, Chinese characters, and unique glazing techniques. Her Bachelor of Arts studies emphasize sculpture, ceramics and drawing. |
